G I N A
Hi there! My name is Gina. I am a mental health therapist hoping to walk alongside you through your journey to becoming the best you. My goal is to move you toward mental wellness through a holistic lens; caring for mind, body and soul. Through our interactions, we will explore your values, dreams, strengths and much more in order to heal from past hurts and grow towards future successes. It is an honor to learn each and every one of my clients' stories, and I would be delighted to learn more about yours.
While I get to learn about you, you also get to learn about me! In the meantime, here are the basic details:
I am a wife, dog mom, human mom and crime fiction enthusiast. I love spending quiet moments in nature when the Midwestern weather agrees to cooperate with my needs. I am slowly reaching my goal of dining at every Mexican restaurant in the city. I hope to share more with you soon!
Gina is amazing! She is kind and empathetic to clients that need help with trauma and eating disorders! She is someone who understands and gives feedback that actually helps when dealing with these issues and more!
Gina makes me feel comfortable right off the bat. I always feel safe with her and trust her! You can tell she really cares.
Gina is great at what she does. She is kind, nonjudgmental, and an honest and open listener.
Going to her events and talking with her always makes me feel lighter. Not to mention her events are always so fun and engaging!
I work from a client centered approach focused on helping you to identify goals, and utilize your existing inner strengths, values and motivation to establish new tools, skills and thought processes to achieve those goals.
I believe the client is the expert on themselves and I am simply walking alongside you in your journey to wellness as we explore together what works best for you.
Therapy may sound like a daunting process, when in reality, it's simple as 1, 2, 3
1. Get to know each other: spend time sharing your background and story
2. Set goals, both short & long term: continually revisit our progress on, tweak and/or create new goals together
3. Launch into your life with the skills and tools you need to succeed.
p.s. I said "simple", not "easy" :)
